Honoring Heroes, Protecting Health, Supporting Our Elders

August was a month of honoring, healing, and giving back. At the National Navajo Code Talker Day celebration in Window Rock, our team served hot lunches and distributed reusable water bottles at a hydration station. CEO Judd Hinkle joined in, personally engaging with veterans and their families and sharing words of gratitude on stage.

We also launched a three-stop Summer Sun Safety Campaign in Dilkon, Torreon, and Crownpoint. Hawaiian-themed and filled with sunscreen, sunglasses, water bottles, and even iced Navajo Tea from a local business, the events drew strong crowds while raising awareness about hydration and protection during summer.

Finally, at the Commercial Quarterly Think Tank, we helped fund and assemble over 100 Elder Blessing Bags. Each bag contained comfort and wellness items—from electrolytes to socks and puzzle books, supporting daily health and quality of life for seniors.

August showcased what makes SBi Giving special: honoring history, promoting wellness, and caring for elders in practical, heartfelt ways.
