Head Starts, Healing, and the Joy of the Outdoors
June was packed with initiatives that highlight our deep connection to youth, families, and community wellness. We proudly launched a new partnership with Navajo Nation Head Start, joining forces to distribute backpacks, school supplies, and Lifeline activations at enrollment events. Together, we’re planning a series of co-hosted wellness and educational programs throughout the year.
On June 21, our team joined over 300 people for Community Bike Race Day in Monument Valley. We helped serve lunch, shared health education, and- thanks to a successful spring bike drive- gave away more than 60 bikes to local families. The event was filled with music, movement, and joy, inspiring wellness habits that will last well beyond the day.
We also supported International Yoga Day in Tuba City at Change Labs, led by Indigenous yoga instructor Haley Laughter. Through breathwork and stretching, participants explored healing and cultural identity in a safe and empowering space.
Finally, we sponsored the White Mountain Apache Youth Fishing Derby, providing funds, equipment, and even our mobile grill. Hundreds of families gathered for a day of fun, conservation, and respect for nature, reinforcing our commitment to youth development and land-based traditions.
