Youth Gardening Workshop

Young minds got their hands in the soil during a Youth Gardening Workshops at Crownpoint, White Rock, White Horse Lake, and Becenti Chapter Houses, where SBi Giving partnered with Indian Health Service to provide an engaging, hands-on learning experience for local youth and community members. Led by local gardening expert Joshua Toddy, participants learned the basics of seed starting, planting, crop care, weather considerations, and harvesting. Each attendee also created a seed starter tray to take home, leaving with the knowledge and tools to begin growing their own gardens while fostering healthy living, self-sufficiency, and an appreciation for the growing process.
