Shiprock Marathon

Cellular One and SBi Giving were pleased to once again support the annual Shiprock Marathon, joining runners, volunteers, and community members for a weekend dedicated to health, wellness, and endurance. Throughout the two-day event, the team served more than 1,000 hamburgers and hot dogs, along with water and fresh fruit, to runners, spectators, volunteers, and their families. As multiple race events took place over both days, the sponsorship helped keep participants and attendees fueled while celebrating one of the region’s premier running events. Cellular One and SBi Giving value the opportunity to continue supporting traditions that bring communities together year after year.

Pueblo Pintado Elder Song & Dance

The Pueblo Pintado Elder Song & Dance provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate elders while bringing families and community members together. During the event, SBi Giving served more than 400 hamburger lunches, and Cellular One’s Activation Station was available to assist eligible attendees with Lifeline services and answer questions. The day reflected a shared commitment to serving the community while honoring the traditions and the important role of elders.

Older American Month

Older Americans Month is a time to recognize the wisdom, contributions, and lasting impact of elders within our communities. In May, SBi Giving served more than 300 hamburger lunches to elders and their families, while Cellular One’s Activation Station was available to assist eligible attendees with Lifeline services and answer questions. The event was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate elders, share a meal, and support community members through service and outreach.
